Job Description:
We are seeking a Rheumatologist to join our well-established,
high-volume practice in a thriving and supportive clinical
environment. Our group is recognized as one of the nation’s premier
rheumatology centers, with extensive experience conducting more
than 1,200 clinical trials, offering interested physicians the
opportunity to participate as a Principal or Sub-Investigator in
ongoing research. With a strong reputation for excellence in the
community and a robust referral base, our practice provides an
exceptional setting for long-term professional growth. This
position offers an outstanding work-life balance with no evening or
weekend clinic hours. We maintain an affiliation with UPMC that
includes limited inpatient call responsibilities. Teaching
opportunities with residents and medical students are available for
those interested in academic engagement. Our practice features a
nationally recognized clinical research program and a highly
regarded infusion center. We offer a comprehensive suite of
additional services, including DEXA/VFA with body composition
analysis, musculoskeletal ultrasound, MRI, and digital X-ray, all
supported by advanced diagnostic tools. At our center, you will
collaborate with a dedicated team, care for a diverse patient
population, and can contribute to meaningful advances in
rheumatology. Altoona is a beautiful, family-friendly community
with access to arts, outdoor recreation, highly ranked schools, and
local athletics, including the Altoona Curve. The region is
conveniently located near major metropolitan areas such as
Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York, and Washington, DC. We are
excited to welcome a qualified candidate to our growing practice.
