Job Description:

MedStar Health, a leading non-profit healthcare provider in the DMV area, is seeking a dedicated X-ray Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role involves utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The X-ray Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care consistent with our patient-first philosophy. Perform routine and complex X-ray imaging procedures accurately and in alignment with department protocols. Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate image quality and determine if additional images are needed. Ensure patient safety and comfort during X-ray procedures, providing clear instructions and support. Maintain and manage radiographic equipment, reporting any malfunctions or inconsistencies. Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records as per regulatory and departmental guidelines. Assist in the implementation of new technologies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and efficiency. Proficiency in using radiographic equipment Strong knowledge of radiation safety and protection measures Excellent patient management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state radiology technician licensure
