Required Skills Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology-Oncology Valid State Medical License (preferred; IMLC considered) DEA Certification and CSR BLS and ACLS Certifications Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience Proficiency in inpatient consults, new referral assessments, cancer diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as ONCO and Cerner Ability to perform or refer complex procedures like bone marrow biopsies Knowledge of hospital operations and patient management Preferred Education and Experience MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 1 year of post-residency experience in a hospital-based oncology practice Familiarity with the latest oncology treatment protocols and emerging therapies Other Requirements Willingness to obtain state licensure or consider IMLC licensing Ability to work day shifts (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Capable of handling inpatient consults and new referrals for adult oncology and hematology patients Credentialing process completed within two weeks for temporary privileges Willing to travel for paid travel expenses, including airfare, rental car, and hotel accommodations if needed Compensation and Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $546.00 per hour Overtime (OT): 1.4x the normal rate after 40 hours/week Holiday pay at 1.5x rate for designated national holidays Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Weekly pay via direct deposit Competitive pay packages complemented by paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable Dedicated 24/7 support team to ensure your success Opportunity for ongoing professional development and growth Take the next step in your oncology career—apply now and contribute your expertise to a team that values your dedication and skills.
