Job Description LOCUM ANESTHESIOLOGIST in Pottstown,
Pennsylvania *Job ID: 137479 Job Summary Assist in directing and
coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.Responsible
for the medical management of patients during surgery and other
medical procedures.Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain
patient consent.Discuss anesthetic options and risks with
patients.Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform
clinical interventions as needed. Job Introduction Duration of
assignment: 301 days.Start date: 11/02/2025, End date:
08/30/2026.On-call duties are required during weeknights and
offered on weekends.Facility: Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, a
small community hospital.Care setting: Inpatient with no OB,
trauma, cardiac, or thoracic cases.10-hour shifts; number of shifts
per month varies.4 anesthesia rooms; procedures include general,
ortho, vascular, and urology. Key Requirements Licensure: Must be
currently licensed as a Physician.Required qualifications:
M.D./D.O. Degree, ECFMG, and FLEX.Board Certification or Fellowship
required.Certifications: Proficiency in peripheral nerve blocks is
important.Vaccination required; experience in anesthesia general is
preferred.Credentialing timeline: Estimated privileging timeframe
