Job Description TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Neonatology for a locum tenens job in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neonatology - Discipline: Nurse Practitioner - Start Date: 06/30/2026 - Duration: 24 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner – Neonatology (Level III NICU) Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center 1086 Franklin St, Johnstown, PA Position Overview Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide high?quality care within its Level III NICU. This role is fully in?house with 12?hour or 24?hour shifts, no call, and ongoing scheduling needs. Ideal candidates bring strong neonatal critical?care skills and are comfortable managing high?acuity infants in a collaborative, team?based environment. Both temp?to?perm candidates and as?needed/PRN providers are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to those already licensed in Pennsylvania. Key Responsibilities - Provide advanced neonatal care within a Level III NICU - Manage high?acuity newborns, including stabilization, procedures, and ongoing critical care - Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and respond to emergent changes in patient status - Collaborate closely with neonatologists, NNPs/PAs, RNs, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff - Participate in admissions, daily management, and discharge planning - Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a safe, efficient NICU workflow - Work in?house for full 12? or 24?hour shifts (no call required) Schedule & Coverage - 12?hour or 24?hour in?house shifts - Ongoing coverage needed - No call (all coverage is in?house) - Open to temp?to?perm or PRN/as?needed availability Requirements - Nurse Practitioner with active or eligible PA state license (PA license preferred) - Experience in a Level III NICU is required - National certification as a Nurse Practitioner - Current BLS and NRP; additional neonatal certifications preferred - Strong clinical judgment and comfort with neonatal emergencies - Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team About the Facility - Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is a regional referral center with a well?established Level III NICU, offering comprehensive neonatal services and a supportive, team?driven environment for advanced practice providers.
