Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 5x8 schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Wednesday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (40 hours guaranteed) /n• No weekends or on-call responsibilities /n• Every other holiday required /n• 2 years of experience required /n• Travel experience required /n• IR experience required /n• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, and fluoro permit /n• Maryland license required /n• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms /n• Scrubbing for IR, vascular, and pain procedures is mandatory /n• Proficiency in operating the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm required /n• Handle interventional procedures including tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, and PEG tube placements /n• Perform pain management procedures including epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations /n• Conduct vascular procedures including angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, and IVC filter placements /n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations /n• Charting system experience required (Cerner) /n• Unit handles cases in CT and X-ray areas but floating to these areas is not required /n• 2-room facility /n• Two supervisor references required /n/n Facility: /n This comprehensive medical center provides advanced interventional radiology and cardiology services with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
