Payroll and LOA Administrator Are you ready to join a collaborative high performing team Come join us as a Payroll and LOA Administrator at PSECU and help foster PSECU's philosophy "--people helping people' by supporting our most important asset - our people. As the Payroll and Leave of Absence Administrator, you'll support the employee experience by providing accurate and timely compensation to all employees. You'll be responsible for supporting LOA activities, record retention, employment verifications, communication and reporting, and transactional duties. - About the Role: - -You'll administer payroll processing and assure compliance with applicable laws, organizational policy, compensation policy, and payroll taxes. - -Take on the role as the primary administrator of Leave of Absence (LOA) process and works with the FMLA and LOA compliance team to ensure regulations, policies, and procedures are followed. - - -You'll assist in the administration of the employee record retention policy including leave tracking, defined contribution payroll records, employee status updates and termination records. You'll respond to appropriate internal and external requests pertaining to employee records including but not limited to pay information and government compliance reports. About You: - -You have strong time management skills to handle multiple requests and deadlines effectively. - -Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills enables you to interact skillfully and confidently with internal partners and colleagues. - -You understand when to have a sense of urgency in solving inquiries and requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work effectively under pressure. Your Education and Experience: - -You have the minimum required experience of at least two years' experience processing high volume payroll (250 employees minimum) within the last five years. - -You have two years' experience in the Human Resource field with exposure to Hiring, Employee Benefits, Training, Labor Relations and Employee Communications. - - -You have two years' experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) and HRMS/HRIS software (experience with UltiPro a plus.). - -Have prior experience with collective bargaining unit agreements is beneficial, but not required. - -Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or Labor Relations is preferred. - -Other equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered. - - - - - Testing: Additional Testing may be required for this position.
