POSITION SUMMARYThe HR Business Partner is a strategic and highly collaborative HR and business role; working closely as a trusted advisor and strategic partner with Regional Business Leaders and Global Center of Excellence Leaders to understand and accomplish business operating, growth and profitability results. Serving as a lead point of service, the incumbent provides advice and counsel on all human capital related matters across multiple geographies within the region; including workforce planning, employee relations, leadership development, talent acquisition, HR operations, employee communications, and total rewards. This role develops a deep understanding of the business, key performance metrics and trends, and organizational interdependencies on a regional and global basis and is a collaborative partner to the HR Centers of Excellence by championing Global, Regional and Local HR initiatives and programs.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPlans, implements, communicates, and administers full span of regional human resources programs, policies, and practices.Consults management on Human Resource related issues; including performance management, talent acquisition and retention, talent review and succession, employee development and total rewards. -- -Partners with client groups to help them achieve goals; focused on providing options and an informed opinion to guide decision making.Ensures alignment of human resources programs with company's philosophy and strategy through partnerships with management, while meeting all legal requirements.Sets a vision for HR, anticipates the evolving needs of the organization, leads change efforts, engages others, acts with integrity both inside and outside the brand.Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.-- -Develops and delivers appropriate solutions for a variety of levels of employee and management for assigned client groups.Creates value for the business by helping leaders focus on individuals and employee relations which enable successful organizational processes; be a steward of broad employee development programs as well as an effective personal coach with individual leadersProvides supervisory and employee training inclusive of fair employment and other statutory laws; i.e. interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance evaluation, safety, sexual harassment, and wage/hour administration.Analyzes key human resource trends at each location in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.Develops, modifies and oversees implementation of company policies that impact assigned business group in concert with other managers.Represents management in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, when advised. -- -Assists with administration of contract provisions at all locations, including participating in grievance and arbitration cases.Supports and/or administers exempt and non-exempt wage programs within the following Corporate wage/salary framework: -- -job description creation, performance appraisal and salary administration, wage/salary budget alignment. -- -#LI-RemoteADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESRepresents employee benefit plans and serves as a liaison between employees and corporate benefits administrator.Reviews and assists with maintenance of human resources information systems to ensure recordkeeping and reporting requirements are accurate and timely.Plans, communicates and integrates employees of newly acquired companies; including orientation meetings, supervisory training and change management.Prepares departmental staffing plan and budget recommendations.Oversees preparation of management and government reports in a timely fashion, as needed.Applies extensive or expert knowledge of technical concepts and theories used in multiple functional areas: is considered an industry expert.Maintains an effective level of HR knowledge and theory, as well as, business literacy about the business units' financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition.Additional duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related fieldAdvanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred6+ years progressive human resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePeriodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.Ability to work with and influence peers and management.Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.#LI-RemoteADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONSPHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENTRegularly required to stand;
