The Position: - Position Reference DTI-852 - Position is located in Harrisburg, PA - Develops reports to support Daptiv, the Enterprise Project, Portfolio Management (EPPM) tool. - Collaborates with leadership and technical team members to document EPPM reporting requirements. - Collaborates with customers and documents new report requests, status and updates notes in predefined template. - Interacts with the EPPM vendor, as necessary, to understand existing reports and to ensure changes will not impact active reports. - Escalates risks / issues to leadership to develop mitigation strategies. - Resolves conflicts with diplomacy and sensitivity in a timely manner. - Responsible for routine updates to the Daptiv Program Manager and EPMO Director of critical matters related to assigned reports. - Responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code. - Involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies. - Works with the Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirements. - Serves as a mentor to team members by sharing industry best standards and practices. - Leads complex technical discussions with business and non-technical users. - Mentors and coordinates programming activities being conducted by technical teams. - Presents complex technical constructs to business and non-technical users. - Collaborates with business users, project managers and technical architects. - Converts scientific, engineering, and other technical problem formulations to formats that can be processed by computer. - Resolves symbolic formulations, prepares flowcharts and block diagrams, and encodes resultant equations for processing by applying extensive knowledge of branch of science, engineering, or advanced mathematics, such as differential equations or numerical analysis, and understanding of capabilities and limitations of computer. - Leverages excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop new business process and programming solutions as directed by business and technical stakeholders. - Provides status of work to Team Lead, and tracks hours specific to each report being developed. - Anticipates, identifies, tracks, and resolves issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team. Preferred Skills and Experience: - 5+ years: Cognos Development experience - 4-year college degree or equivalent experience - Strong report development skills - Effective communication skills (speaking, written and interpersonal) - Ability to work independently, and participate in cross-functional teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent interpersonal skills to help promote an inclusive workplace that foster the development of others - Facilitate cooperation and teamwork and support constructive resolution The Perks: - Excellent Market Salary - Competitive Benefit Packages Incl.
