As a Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce) - You will:

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software
Engineer (SSE) with a strong background in Salesforce development
and a working knowledge of ITIL best practices to support a
mission-critical IT modernization program .
The SSE will support modernization of legacy applications and
workflows by developing scalable, cloud-based solutions with a
primary focus on Salesforce implementation, customization, and
integration.
Candidates should bring both technical depth and process
orientation to align with enterprise ITIL-based service
delivery.
Responsibilities:
Map, document, and analyze existing applications and workflows to
inform legacy system modernization and migration to platforms such
as Salesforce and ServiceNow.
Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions
including custom apps, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex
classes/triggers, and Visualforce pages.
Apply ITIL-aligned processes in the design, development, testing,
and deployment of software solutions-ensuring alignment with
service delivery, change management, and incident resolution
workflows.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering .
Minimum 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years
of hands-on Salesforce development.
Proficient in Salesforce platform tools (Apex, LWC, Visualforce,
SOQL/SOSL).
Strong experience with Oracle 19c, PL/SQL, and Oracle Application
Express (APEX).
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, JavaScript, and dynamic
form creation.
Section 508 testing knowledge, including JAWS and other
accessibility tools.
Understanding of ITIL-based service delivery, including incident,
change, and configuration management.
Tools & Technologies:
Salesforce Platform (Apex, LWC, Visualforce)
Oracle 19c, PL/SQL, APEX
Adobe Experience Manager, JavaScript
Section 508 testing tools (JAWS, etc.)
Agile project tools (Jira, Confluence)
ServiceNow and ITSM platforms
ITIL-based tools for service, change, and asset management
Preferred Qualifications:
Current DOJ Public Trust or higher clearance
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I or II)
Experience working on federal IT modernization programs
ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) and demonstrated
experience applying ITIL principles in software development or IT
operations
Experience supporting ServiceNow and enterprise cloud platforms
Strong background in documentation and training aligned to ITIL
frameworks
This is a Full Time ,Contract opportunity.
Location : Washington, D.C. Area (100% On-Site)
Contract : 6+ Month (Possibly Conversion after 6 month )
Pay Rate : $80-85 Per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
