• This is 100% Remote opportunity.Job Description:DATAAPS is primarily developed in Java with a back-end Oracle database. DATAAPS production data is transferred to and from the DFAS - owned Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS) on a set schedule.Customer organizations using DATAAPS as their T&A solution are able to select the hosting service provider that will host their particular instance of DATAAPS from either the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) or the customer's own location. Web servers may be either UNIX or Windows-based.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for research, design, and development of computer software.
  • Under general direction, performs high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of the application software that requires a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills.
  • Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases.
  • Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required by the task order. Responsible for ensuring the quality of services delivered for particular DATAAPS task(s).RequirementsBasic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's and minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
    • Proficiency in JAVA development is required for this position.
    • Must have experience with the below skills/technologies:
    • HTML/XHTML
    • XML
    • Capability Maturity Module (CMM)
    • Oracle Database
    • Oracle PL/SQL
    • AGILE Methodology
    • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)Education/Work ExperienceBachelor's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
