We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with strong
experience in cloud-native technologies, infrastructure as code,
and security compliance to support and enhance our DevOps
initiatives for federal and intelligence community missions. This
role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about automation,
cybersecurity, and building secure, scalable DevOps solutions
within regulated and mission-critical environments, while working
closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver
reliable, compliant, and high-performing systems. Must be able to
obtain and maintain a federal security clearance up to TS/SCI. US
citizenship is required. Required Skills: Design, build, and
maintain CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub Actions,
GitLab CI, or Jenkins, ensuring reliable, repeatable deployments.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
and AWS CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration
of cloud resources. Deploy and manage containerized applications
using Docker and Kubernetes across multi-cloud environments,
including EKS, AKS, GKE, OKE, OpenShift, Anthos, SpectroCloud, or
Portainer. Manage application configurations and deployment tooling
with Helm, Ansible, and Docker Compose, ensuring consistent and
secure releases. Apply security and compliance standards (e.g.,
NIST, FedRAMP, DISA STIGs) throughout CI/CD workflows and
infrastructure deployments. Integrate and operate Cloud Security
Posture Management (CSPM) tools such as Prisma Cloud, Wiz, or
Lacework to monitor for misconfigurations and vulnerabilities.
Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and related security
policies, including rulesets, threat detection, and secure
networking within cloud environments. Develop and maintain
automation scripts in Python to support infrastructure management,
security scanning, and monitoring tasks. Collaborate with
development, cloud, and security teams to implement DevOps best
practices and improve system reliability and compliance.
Participate in cloud architecture reviews, contributing to security
enhancements, scalability improvements, and performance
optimizations. Desired Skills: 3–5 years of experience in DevOps,
Cloud Engineering, or SecOps, with exposure to SIEM, SOAR, XDR, or
Cloud Architecture solutions. Experience with Palo Alto XDR / XSOAR
/ XSIAM and/or Prisma Cloud / Cortex Cloud is highly desired.
Familiarity with Cribl for improving log routing, data pipelines,
and observability is a plus. Understanding of Zero-Trust
architecture principles in cloud or hybrid environments is strongly
preferred Qualifications: Eligible for a federal security clearance
up to TS/SCI (active clearance preferred). 3 years of hands-on
experience in DevOps, SecOps, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering,
preferably within federal or intelligence community (IC)
environments. Demonstrated proficiency in: IaC Tools: Terraform,
CloudFormation CI/CD Platforms: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins
Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes Multi-Cloud
Platforms: EKS, AKS, GKE, OKE, OpenShift, Anthos, SpectroCloud,
