Job Description:
As a Commissioning Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you
will play a critical role in ensuring the successful setup and
integration of AWS's complex cloud computing environments. This
position involves meticulous evaluation, testing, and commissioning
of various IT systems and infrastructure to meet stringent
performance standards before they go live. Leveraging the vast
technological resources and innovative culture of AWS, you will
help in bridging the gap between development and operations,
ensuring seamless functionality and efficiency for our global
client base. Review, evaluate, and execute testing plans for new
software and hardware integrations. Collaborate with the
development team to understand system configurations and design.
Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and modifications to
ensure operational effectiveness. Document technical specs and
commissioning processes ensuring compliance with internal and
industry standards. Provide training and support to operations
staff post-commissioning. Regularly update project stakeholders on
progress and any critical issues. Adhere to safety protocols and
standards during all commissioning activities. Strong understanding
of cloud computing services and infrastructure. Proficiency in
programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby. Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills. Hands-on experience with
automation and scripting. Effective communication and project
management abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Automation Professional
(CAP) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar
credentials.
