Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) LOCATION Annapolis Junction, MD 20701 CLEARANCE TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship) KEY SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled and proactive Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) to join our team and take ownership of managing and optimizing our Oracle database systems. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical databases, implement backup and recovery strategies, and monitor system health to identify and resolve issues proactively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database design, enforce security measures, and implement best practices for efficient data management. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Install and configure Oracle databases Manage database backup and recovery processes Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks Implement and enforce database security measures Create and maintain database schemas and structures Support database migrations and upgrades REQUIRED SKILLS Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL Expertise in Oracle database tools (e.g., RMAN, OEM) Strong knowledge of performance tuning Experience with database replication technologies Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery strategies Ability to write and debug database scripts DESIRED SKILLS Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard Knowledge of cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud) Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) Understanding of data warehousing concepts Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds) PLUG IN to CYMERTEK - And design your future YOUR FOREVER CAREER STARTS HERE Are you looking for more than just a job?
