Job Description:
Endpoint Management & Vulnerability Analyst Location: Herndon,
VA Duration: 12 months Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and hold
ONLY U.S. citizenship. Candidate will be required to be in the
Herndon office 4 days a week The Endpoint Management Vulnerability
team is seeking a dedicated individual to identify, assess, and
mitigate security vulnerabilities within the organization's IT
Endpoint infrastructure. This role involves conducting regular
vulnerability assessments, coordinating with both on-site and
remote user workstations, and implementing necessary security
measures. Additional responsibilities include answering tier 3
helpdesk tickets, working with programs like SCCM and Intune, and
supporting A/V equipment within the Herndon office. Key
Responsibilities: Monitor vulnerability scans on systems and
applications. Mitigate vulnerabilities by contacting users and
remotely patching laptops. Identify and document security
vulnerabilities, recommending remediation strategies. Collaborate
with IT teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.
Develop and maintain vulnerability management procedures and
documentation. Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure
compliance with security policies. Stay up to date on emerging
security threats, technologies, and best practices. Assist in
security audits by third-party entities. Provide technical support
to users as needed. Support office A/V equipment as required. Work
within Intune and SCCM to maintain endpoint management. Support the
Asset Management team, including tasks such as creating/updating
asset records and distributing assets to Herndon employees.
Qualifications: 4 years of experience in Windows IT Services
End-User Support or Endpoint Administration. Experience with
vulnerability assessment and management. Familiarity with security
tools such as Nessus, MECM, and Intune. Strong problem-solving
skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and
as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills.
