CACI is seeking a Cloud Project Engineer (CPE) Infrastructure
Administrator to assist our customer in implementing essential
Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) services within a highly
secure Impact Level 6 (IL6) environment. This role will support the
United States Air Force's transition from traditional network
operations and on-premises Secret Internet Protocol Router Network
(SIPRNet) to a secure, enterprise-based IL6 Cloud environment for
classified information transfer. Responsibilities: Responsible for
the design, deployment and maintenance support of a IL6 environment
for the EITaaS Stakeholders in accordance with DoD Cloud Computing
Security Requirements Guide (SRG) within a US Government
multi-region enterprise platform for the Dept. of the Air Force.
Working independently to complete tasks as assigned and work with
multiple application teams to integrate systems and solutions,
triage issues, and prioritize activities. Utilizing good verbal and
written skills to communicate effectively to include answering
questions, proactively communicating, and troubleshooting issues
within the core infrastructure and application services. Establish
requirements, priorities, schedules, and objectives to support the
capabilities and direction of the overall solution. This includes
participation in development, design, review, deploy, maintain and
monitoring of the infrastructure services. You will ensure product
success and will follow all established processes and standards.
Managing your assigned cloud workloads in the day-to-day
operations. You will be responsible for performing various tasks
such as planning, designing, managing, supporting, and maintaining
Azure cloud computing-related activities. Proven ability to lead
and mentor high-performance cloud engineering teams Qualifications:
Required: Active Secret clearance 15 Years of relevant experience
(Bachelor’s degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5
years of experience). 5 years’ experience working with Azure cloud
services Experience deploying and managing cloud resources and
infrastructure components within an IL6 environment. Ownership:
Experience working with minimal supervision, are a self-starter can
manage your individual tasks and have strong communication skills
for partnering and communicating across internal teams to maximize
efficiency and success of assigned tasks. Compliance: Experience
with best practices for the Azure cloud environments for US
Government and DoD including DoD Cloud Computing SRG and Regulatory
Compliance such as and NIST 800-53 Rev 5. and NIST 800-171 Rev. 3
Governance: Strong Experience with implementing Azure Policy, RBAC,
monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and Infrastructure as Code
Security: Hands-on experience designing and maintaining secure
solutions in Azure including Identity and Access Management (IAM),
Conditional Access Policies, Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for
Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel., and end to end encryption. Networking:
Strong experience with design and maintenance of Expressroutes,
VNets, VPN, firewalls, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints, load
balancers, Private DNS zones, and Network Watcher. Compute and
Storage: Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Azure
compute and storage services. Including dedicated hosts, virtual
machines, images, storage accounts, and managed disks Performance
Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for
cost-effectiveness, performance, and scalability. Identify and
address performance bottlenecks and resource utilization issues.
Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates
to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and
deployment processes. Monitoring and Logging: Design and maintain
Azure Monitor/Log Analytics to enable monitoring, alerting, and
logging solutions to track the health and performance of cloud
resources. Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues promptly.
Containers: Experience with container solutions available in Azure.
Analytics: Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning and AI services.
Zero Trust: Knowledge of the design and implementation of Zero
Trust within Azure. OS management: Familiarity with Windows and
RHEL OS management including patching/update management and STIGs.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including
Application teams, developers, DevOps engineers, and system
administrators, to support application development and deployment.
Documentation: Strong skills in documentation of cloud
architectures, configurations, and operational processes and
procedures, clearly being able to identify key aspects in your own
words and writing such that others who may not be technical can
still understand what is being conveyed. Skills with documenting
diagrams with Visio are also preferred. CompTIA Security or higher
equivalent Desired: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification

host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not
limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
