Job Description Job Description Labor & Employment Attorney Labor & Employment Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Lateral Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in labor and employment law, particularly in representing management interests. This position focuses on providing expert legal counsel, handling litigation, and advising clients on compliance and workplace issues. Key Responsibilities - Provide legal counsel on labor and employment matters to management clients. - Represent clients in litigation related to employment disputes, including wrongful termination and discrimination claims. - Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations. - Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures. - Advise clients on best practices for employee management and workplace compliance. - Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively. - Assist in training and educating clients on labor law compliance and risk management. Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Active license to practice law in VA; DC & MD admissions a plus. - 5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on management-side representation. - Proven experience in handling litigation cases in labor and employment. - Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Portable book of business Benefits - Salary flexible based on experience and qualifications - 401k - PTO - Health Benefits - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
