Ink Utility’s responsibility is to assist the ink techs in a safe and controlled manner that will ensure the safety of others and the quality of products being made. Duties include handling hazardous waste, handling the distiller and washing buckets. Why work at MCC: Compensation: $18.50 hourly $1.00 Shift Premium $1,000.00 sign on bonus Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k) Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating holidays Responsibilities: Assist and/or set up and operate machines to meet product requirements. Movement of heavier items with proper equipment. Follow all plant and department specific safety rules, including use of all required personal protective equipment. Ensure compliance with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP) as applicable. Interact and behave professionally. Treat all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining company code of ethics. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or equivalent is necessary Prior experience in the manufacturing experience is helpful. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. Able to follow directions and instructions and the ability to work well with others, as well as be self-directed Good motor skills, dexterity, mechanical and analytical skills are a plus.
