Sr. Electrical Engineer will demonstrate effective interaction with
a multi-disciplinary team and deliver custom designs and solutions
for a variety of connectivity and digital serial communication
needs in a rapid development and product commercialization
environment.Candidate Responsibilities: See design through all
phases from conception through production includingrequirements
generation, schematic, layout, prototype builds, Firmware designand
testing and commercialization. Validate system performance in order
to prove the technical design throughanalysis, simulation, and
laboratory testing. Experience with Industrial digital
communication protocols. (e.g Ethernet,TCP/IP, USB, UART, RS485,
RS232 etc) Experience with digital communication protocol
implementation in Hardware andFirmware using C and or C++ Generate
complete system documentation and provides input to
technicalproposals in order to effectively communicate the design
and/or approach tointernal and external customers. Independently
develop and implement corrective action to product and
proceduralproblems. Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship for
less experienced design engineersin order to increase our design
expertise base within the company with anemphasis on performance,
design optimization, re-use, and generating intellectualproperty.
Provide budget, schedule, and technical compliance updates to
management inorder to effectively record progress of technical
aspects of the program assigned. Ensure successful transition of
products/projects to full scale production. Qualifications
Candidate Must Have: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical
Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 7 10 years of detailed
circuit and Firmware design experience. Proven design skills in a
product development environment. Full product lifecycleexperience
required. Program management experience is a plus. Experience in
board level designs that include MCU, FPGA and CPLDtechnologies.
Experience with FPGA design software such as Altera Quartus
orXilinx Foundation. Experience with Altium tools and designs a
plus. Knowledge of computer programming languages such as VHDL,
Verilog, C, C++,and schematic capture tools a must.Familiarity with
Industrial designs, IndustrialCommunication protocol specifications
and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with
the ability to solve problems,multi-task and be a hands-on leader.
Energetic, self-starter with a passionate interest in engineering
and design for stateof the art electronics and
software/firmwareIdeal Candidate Will Have:Currently title, Sr.
Electrical Engineer.Performed responsibilities for the last 2 years
(minimum).Held no more than two jobs in last 5 years. Additional
Information Base Salary - $80K++ D.O.E.Benefits - full Sr.
