As a Social Media Specialist and Production Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. In addition to developing and implementing social media strategies, you will be working closely with the Creative Producer as a Production Assistant while traveling for video production. You will be responsible for providing management with comprehensive analytics, data presentations, and resource management reports. You willhave a demonstrated history of working in a fast-paced environment while delivering multiple projects on schedule, on budget and without errors. You shouldalso have some knowledge of video production and camera operation in order to be best positioned to operate as a an Assistant Producer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Report to Creative Producer
  • Content creation
  • Content scheduling
  • Assist with video production
  • Travel to video locations
  • Select software tools that will be used for social media management
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+years of Social Media Management experience
  • Strong project management or organizational skills
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, TikTok etc.) and how they can be deployed
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
  • Public relations, marketing, sales, community management experience
  • Knowledge of video production and camera operation is great but not required!
  • Somelocal/regional/national travel is an essential duty; this requires a valid drivers license, registered and insured vehicle, and the ability to drive to and from prospective and current accounts or other business engagements, as needed. Occasional day and/or overnight travel associated with trade shows, customer sites, and other industry/business events may also be necessary.
  • Ifhired, must adhere to all company policies and procedures, safety requirements, and other prescribed best practices/industry standards
