* Environment; TE's global infrastructure server, storage, backup and disaster recovery (SSBR) function supporting 40,000+ TE users in 50+ countries utilizing 1,000+ applications. SSBR devices located in both primary data center hubs in US, Germany, Japan, China and Hong Kong and in TE site locations around the globe.

Business Unit Description TEIS GISS

Position Overview: This position is responsible for providing key data/metrics and reports around the current state of SSBR infrastructure at TE as they relate to security, vulnerability and compliance. Key objectives are tracking overall security stance, working with the various managers of the individual towers to track items from identification to resolution, and act as the face of SSBR in compliance/security meetings to ensure progress is being made. The individual in this role will have visibility across many levels of management/leadership in both the infrastructure and security towers at TE and must be comfortable presenting at all levels.

Responsibilities:

* Aligns with technology teams/leads to understand current state of their environments on all items related to security/vulnerability/compliance including but not limited to VMWare, Windows, Redhat and Solaris. * Creates dashboards/metrics/reports to show current state via tools like ServiceNow, PowerBI and Solarwinds. * Partners with teams to understand remediation plans. Schedules regular meetings with SSBR teams to track progress and ensure that there is stead remediation (downward trend) of open issues. * Plans/attends regular meetings with the security/compliance teams to provide current SSBR state and address any concerns or new priorities defined by the security team. * Identifies opportunities on how to proactively manage the overall SSBR estate by working with monitoring/automation teams. Works with SSBR teams to leverage configuration management tool to ensure vulnerabilities/compliance issues are proactively managed. * Works closely with security teams to review data coming out of their tools (Qualys, Rapid 7, Crowdstrike, and others to ensure the data generated is relevant and actionable by the teams. * Monitors SNOW ticket queues specific to compliance/vulnerability to ensure that tickets are being resolved or turned over to appropriate teams. * Partners with application and service owners on items that are incorrectly assigned to SSBR towers to ensure they are reassigned properly. Follows up with security teams to remediate process to reduce incorrectly assigned items, * Works directly with members of the technology teams to manage remediation of issues. Escalates accordingly to managers on any delays. * Leads projects related to remediation tasks and mitigation efforts. * Aligns other infrastructure teams including storage, backup and disaster recovery groups to deliver a common strategy. * Core understanding of technology platforms to order to understand the impact of issues as well as the impact of remediation steps. * Experienced with working in a large, global, follow the sun support organization. Understands how and when to pull in global teams to resolve issues. * Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Generally, requires bachelor's degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 6+ years of experience; Master's degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred

COMPENSATION

* Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $xxx - xxx (subject to change dependent on physical location) * Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
