Member Services Professionals are responsible for the intake processes of PerformCare. They are the first point of contact for Members accessing the company.  Specifically, Member Services Professionals:

  • Answer incoming calls for all toll free numbers into PerformCare.
  • Complete the intake processes for Inpatient Levels of Care.
  • Conduct Bed Searches for Members approved for Inpatient Levels of Care.
  • Explain processes and procedures to Member and Providers.
  • Assist with Crisis Calls.
  • Provide resources to Members, including, but not limited to in network providers, tobacco cessation materials, Member Handbook, MATP,  and community resources.
  • Complete intake information for Complaints and Grievances.

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Human Services Required 
  • Experience with Customer Service or Call Center preferred 
  • 1 to 3 years Behavioral Health Experience preferred 

Other Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to respond sensitively to member’s requests required.
  • Experience with PCs in a Windows based environment required.
