As a Coordinator at UCP, you'll enjoy:Opportunity to make a measurable difference every day!Sign on Bonus - $500 (PT 30+ and FT)Position Type / Hours per week- Full Time / 37.5 hoursAll day shift hours - no evenings, weekends, overnights or holidaysBenefits may include: Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, 403(b) with Company Match, Life and Disability Insurance, Company Contributions to Your HSA, Paid Time Off, and more!Extensive orientation program that will equip you for successEmployee recognition programs to ensure that you feel valued and appreciatedMultiple forums for providing feedback to the executive team so that your voice is heardResponsibilities:When it comes to what you'll do as a Coordinator at UCP, here's what to expect:Plan instruction & group activities focusing on developing functional, communication and social / recreational skills through activities.Develop weekly schedules for our staff and participants which an emphasis on participant skill development, personal interests, and community interaction.Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individual Program Plans.Provide information and assist participants in self-advocacy and decision making about living, work, and social relationships.Help the participants in identifying their needs for community supports, and work with the participants informal support system to initiate community connections.Research, develop, and maintain information community, and other resources relevant to the needs of participants.Qualifications:What we're looking for in a Coordinator at UCP: Minimum requirementsAt least 18 years of ageA valid driver's licenseAccess to vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspectionHigh School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate required.6 Months previous Caregiving, Direct Support Professional, or Direct Care Worker ExperienceAbility to communicate, read, write, and interpret EnglishA sincere commitment to our guiding principlesPut the interests of the people we support firstCommunicate with all stakeholdersConnect with each other through our shared commitment to the missionSeek innovative ways to create possibilitiesInspire each other to leadFoster collaboration and teamwork through trust, accountability, adaptability, and respect Preferred, but not requiredAssociates Degree, or technical certification preferred.2 Years or more of previous Caregiving, Direct Support Professional, or Direct Care Worker experienceKnowledge of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or the aging populationWhile performing the duties of this position, a Coordinator at UCP will:Continuously express and exchange ideasCommunicate with othersApply visual acuity less than 20 inches, apply visual acuity greater than 20 feetFrequently sit, stand, walk, twist, move 1-10 pounds, move 11-50 poundsOccasionally move greater than 50 pounds, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach above shoulders, work outdoorsRarely climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, use a computer, and apply visual depth perception and field of vision (if vehicle driving duties assigned).UCP Central PA is committed to being an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and offers opportunities to all job seekers, including job seekers with disabilities.
