THE POSITION
The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is seeking experienced and
dependable Dispatchers for their new and growing dispatch center in
Dauphin County. If you are looking for a challenging, rewarding

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
You will perform public service dispatching work which involves
receiving, dispatching, and coordinating information and processes
in the PGC Centralized Dispatch Center in addition to performing a
variety of general support duties related to communication
activities, including record keeping, typing, and filing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment.
+ Flexible Work Schedule: Shifts vary working 5 days in a 7-day
(40-hour) workweek.
Lunch: 30 minutes
+ Telework: This position is not telework eligible.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be
non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Two years of dispatch operations experience, two-way radio
operation experience, or complex clerical experience.
+ Possession of a valid Public Safety Telecommunicator certificate
issued by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials
may be substituted for six months of the required experience.
+ Possession of a valid Pennsylvania hunting license may be
substituted for three months of the required experience.
Necessary Special Requirement:
+ Possession of a clear, firm voice and no major speech, hearing,
or visual impairments that would interfere with understanding
verbal communication, being understood, or
using electronic communications equipment and visual display
equipment.
Post Employment Requirement:
+ Must be able to obtain CLEAN and JNET certification within the
probationary period and maintain these certifications for the
duration of employment in this job.
