Job Title - Machine Operator Pay Rate - $19.30/hour Location: Harrisburg, PA 17101 Shift- 1 st Shift 5am-2:30pm Monday-Friday 2 nd Shift 2pm-11pm Monday-Friday This will be a Rotational Shift! Typically candidate will work 3-4 weeks on 1 st then one full week on 2 nd shift. MUST be able to work on 2 nd shift and 1 st shift. Overtime: Yes candidate should expect to work 45-50 hours a week. Job Description Perform various duties including, but not limited to, safe operation of production and packaging machinery, proper handling and mixing of ingredients, and moving and/or stacking materials and equipment Perform at reasonable speeds, taking full advantage of the equipment available Observe all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and good housekeeping practices Act with quality, safety and teamwork in mind at all times Maintain an understanding of the flow of work on the production floor, from staging to production to storage Additional responsibilities and duties are assigned by Supervisors or Plant Management JOB REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years of age, with a High School Diploma or GED preferred Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes Experience or training in manufacturing/food manufacturing or supply-chain environment is preferred Must be able to work pre-scheduled day or night shifts (mostly day) Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions with high levels of detail Physical Demands Must be able to lift 60 pounds continuously throughout shift.
