Job Description:

*COUNSELORDRUG/ALCOHOL: *22.5 to 30 hours (3-4 days) per week. M&F 8am-4pm; Tu&Th 12noon-8pm*Responsibilities:*Conduct individual and possible family counseling sessions, under supervision, as scheduled and provide documentation as required. Client caseload will include criminal justice clients which includes male prison population.Conduct group, under supervision, as scheduled and provide documentation as required.Assess client for substance abuse diagnosis and determine appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria.Assess needs of client, including determining if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.Document all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals, and follow-up in clients clinical record.Maintain client caseload, treatment planning and clinical charting as required.Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment and incidents is completed timely and in a clear, concise manner.Development of appropriate client discharge plans.Facilitate possible interventions and coordinate services for possible crisis-oriented services.Contact and coordination with referral sources, (i.e. legal, school, employer, CYS, etc.)Perform other duties as assigned.*Benefits:*PTO both vacation & sick timeLife insurance*QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:*Bachelor's degree in social or health services field, with 1+ years experience in counseling field and/or master's degree in social or health services field, with 1-year professional work experience; degree must be from an accredited college or university.*Licenses/Certifications: *CADC and/or CAADC preferred or actively working toward certification.Send resume to: Douglas Brubaker, Executive Director, dbrubaker@perryhumanservices.org 717-582-8703E.O.E.Pay period -pay day on 1st and 15th of month.
