Data Standards Lead

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide project management coordination, oversight, planning, and implementation of data standards governance within the organization
Collaborate with Government leads to create and develop processes and policies related to data standards
Engage with different stakeholders, both within the agency and external federal agencies to promote data standards and coordinate activities
Drive execution of the Data Standards Implementation Memo
Assess current processes and provide recommendations for improvements
Present/communicate project status and ideas in front of senior agency leadership
Maintain responsibility for the overall planning, organizing, controlling and delivery of all data standards projects prioritized in alignment with the client's expectations and business needs

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in School of Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical or functional discipline
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience
At least 3 years of experience with data standards projects and initiatives
Previous experience managing multiple projects of teams of 5-10 resources
Proven experience in a consulting and/or client-facing environment
Superb oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Fluency in discussing strategic business problems - you combine a drive for analytical reasoning with a practical understanding of what our clients are trying to achieve
Ability to think analytically, strategically, and proactively about diverse business solutions
Strong querying experience - preferably using Databricks
Experience with multi-tasking in a fast-paced and dynamic organization

Desired Skills & Experience

DHS current clearance or Public Trust is strongly desired
Collibra experience
Tableau experience

Preferred Skills & Experience

Knowledge of APIs
Knowledge of System interchanges
Knowledge of KAFKA
Experience with analysis of ICAs
Data architect skills
Knowledge of Data modeling
Knowledge of Databases

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
