Using their strong knowledge of electronic health records, data management, medical terminology, and quality management, the Registry Specialist will be responsible for the analysis, consolidation, and editing of reported death case information for incorporation into the death registry, as well as all associated compliance and quality assurance activities. The Registry Specialist will also be responsible for the daily submission of death data to the National Center for Health Statistics, as well as making all required corrections to submitted data. Other duties of the Registry Specialist include testing enhancements to the EDRS, as well as the development of training materials for EDRS.
