Accounting Specialist

Job Description:

Adecco is currently assisting a local company in York, PA in their search for a Accounting Specialist.

This position will be responsible for the day to day support of the Open Payments regulatory transparency

Duties include but not limited to:

- Conduct daily audits of the travel and related expenses for regulatory compliance to ensure that all eligible spend is recorded and reportable for the tax year.

- Support the Open Payments regulatory reporting using the MediSpend system to compile, analyze, and generate reporting to ensure timely and accurate reporting to specified regulatory agencies.

- Ownership for the completeness of data reported

QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong financial analytic skills.

- Moderate to advance experience with Microsoft Office suite required.

- Experience working with Databasics or similar Travel and Expense Reimbursement software highly preferred.

- Experience working with Medispend, or other Open Payments data repository software desired.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization.

- Motivated self-starter with strong communication, organization and multi-tasking abilities.

- Ability to meet deadlines.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

- Associate¿s Degree in finance/accounting or related discipline.

- Minimum of 3- 5 years related experience in accounting or finance.

- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
