Change Healthcare is looking for an Epic Solution Consultant to support sales, account management, and product resources to ensure Change Healthcares array of highly complementary and deeply integrated solutions accurately address the needs of our customer base that use Epic as their primary EHR. The Epic Solution Consultant is a quota-bearing resource who directly engages with Account Management Leaders, Account Executives/Managers, Business Development Leaders, Product Owners, and Technical Leaders to support and drive sales of an individual offering or suite of products, solutions, or services by obtaining support of key customer decision makers. The Epic Solution Consultant utilizes expert-level product knowledge of Change Healthcares revenue cycle software and analytics solutions, including, but not limited to, their points of workflow and technical integration into Epic to architect sales solutions solving a variety of revenue cycle management (RCM) problems in the market. The Epic Solution Consultant works with a cross-functional team of Change Healthcare experts to develop and grow Change Healthcares Epic integration, implementation, and product strategy.Position:

  • We are looking for an extensive Epic background to specific sales opportunities to align Change Healthcare solutions with individual customer/buyers business requirements, strategies, and goals; understand buyers requirements, current technical environment, end-to-end workflows (including Epic), and needs.
  • You will be the Internal and external lead in the development and delivery of Change Healthcare solution presentations, demonstrations for customers that use Epic
  • You will understand Change Healthcare products and industry standards, service, and technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging offerings to enable new sales to customers. Provide industry and market insights to product leaders based on customer feedback and interaction
  • You will work closely with the Strategic Epic Partner Manager in the development of the company-wide Epic engagement strategy and customer-facing go-to-market strategies specifically for Change Healthcare prospects and customers that use Epic.
  • You will lead knowledge transfer and on-going education of Epic solutions and key points of integration with the entire Solution Consulting Team. Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Epic-specific insights to the sales team for highly complicated deals that involve an extended sales cycle. Engage with sales leaders by assisting in optimizing pipeline acceleration and taking a long-term approach to incorporating various account and territory plans.
  • Attend deal and account strategy sessions; develop customized presentations, demonstrations, prototypes, and architecture diagrams to prove a solution's business value to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain presentations and demonstrations, collaborating with the Epic Strategic Account Manager, for a variety of internal and external audiences
  • Work with implementation and customer advisory teams to ensure proper post-sales execution in an Epic-centric customer environment (i.e., implementation methodology alignment, KPI design, etc.)
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address Epic-specific customer needs and drive additional business value.Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years minimum of Epic revenue cycle strategy, implementation, and/or support experience with a track record of success
  • Previous Presales, Subject Matter Expert, or Solution Consulting/Architect experience in the RCM industry preferred.
  • Active Epic certifications required in one or more of the following: HB and/or PB Claims, Prelude, Resolute HB, Resolute PB. Experience with HB Claims, PB Claims is required, and Prelude is preferred
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma or similar improvement methodologies is a plusPreferred Qualifications
  • Skilled at assessing and understanding the customers current Epic build and the integration, implementation, and use of Change Healthcare solutions within the Epic workflow, mapping out a future architecture and identifying how the new processes integrate and improve the customers overall business process.
  • Skilled in understanding the customers existing business processes, mapping those processes to the new solution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Ability to evaluate operational, financial and market intelligence and be able to make accurate and business appropriate recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an open, honest, and direct communication style and ability to build relationships across an organization to accomplish goals.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce or other CRMs and healthcare information systems.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
