an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our

foundational understanding and can perform the basic
responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not
limited to):VenipuncturePlacing IV CathetersDrug
CalculationsAdministration of Medications (IV or other
methods)Taking VitalsObserve, document and recognize changes in
patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in
conditionProviding high quality medical/nursing careYou work well
independently and as part of a team, practicing good judgment to
ensure high-quality care for all patientsYou adapt to the
individual needs of each patient, are not afraid to ask questions,
are eager to enhance your skill set, and maintain a positive
attitudeEzyVet and SmartFlow experience is a plus.Compensation &
Benefits (full- time employees):LVT: ($30/hr + commensurate with

with matching--Qualifications:The LVT position requires a current
and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia, or have an
active license in another state that qualifies you to be eligible
for licensingAt least two years of Veterinary experience as an LVT,
or one with two years as a Veterinary Assistant.Extensive
experience with anesthesia, venipuncture and cathetersExcellent
communication, patient care and customer service skillsBe flexible
and adapt well to new situationsWork well as part of a
teamAdditional Requirements:Must be eligible to work in the United
States and have original, unexpired documents to verify
eligibility.--Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and
drug test (complying with local, state and Federal guidelines).Have
a valid high school diploma or GEDPhysical Demands: The physical
demands described below are representative of those that must be
met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions

situations using all senses. During the normal workday, employee
may occasionally lift and/or push/pull up to 50 pounds. This
position requires sitting for long periods of time. About Us:--Bush
Veterinary Neurology has four locations across 2 states! Our
clinics are operated by board certified neurologists that provide
same-day life-saving--neurosurgery and long-term medical
management. Our hospitals house state of the art equipment to
provide advanced diagnostic testing including--cerebrospinal fluid
collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography,
MRI and more!--Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain
surgeries. Some of these surgeries include--intervertebral disc
surgery, brain tumor removal,--foramen magnum decompression,
ventricular shunt replacement and more!!----Veterinary
technicians--play an integral role in our hospital whether they are
handling patient care, taking care of clients, running our
diagnostic imaging equipment, or assisting doctors in surgery. You
will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your
