Job Description:

StarsHR has the following long-term contract role available with our client in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.*Business Analyst*Responsibilities:o Collaborate closely with the OVR team to assess the current state of data management and reporting in CWDS.o Develop a comprehensive plan to address identified issues and enhance data management practices.o Propose solutions to streamline processes and improve accuracy.o Create standard and ad hoc reports based on OVRs reporting needs.o Design report templates and generate reports as required.o Analyze the separation between emerging and legacy systems.o Propose strategies to integrate the two systems effectively.Duties: Perform Business Process Reengineering (BPR) including assessment of existing business processes (As-Is Assessment), determination of future state (To-Be Assessment and Requirements), and Gap Analysis Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) or Detail Design Sessions (DDS) facilitation Document business process requirements and process diagram flows, review business policy and procedure documentation, create/update documentation as needed and review with business partner and IT administrator resource Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, business rules, processes, and legislation and generate functional and system requirements documentation required for system development. Ensure proper escalation to appropriate management of issues and potential project risks including compliance risks or limitations of available information technology services risks impacting development completion or impacts to schedules Evaluate and analyze complex business processes and determine how the information can be relayed in individual parts.Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of prior experience working as a Business Analyst in a software environment. Strong Data Visualization and Reporting skills. Solid knowledge of software testing process. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Bachelors Degree in a technical or business related discipline is preferred.This will be a hybrid role with at least 3 days/week being performed onsite.
