Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter/Roofer to support residential solar installation projects through general carpentry work, roofing repairs, and structural modifications. This role plays a key part in ensuring homes are properly prepared for solar installations and that any post-installation repairs are completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a background in residential construction, roofing, or carpentry, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform pre-installation site assessments to obtain accurate measurements and evaluate structural conditions.
Complete structural upgrades as needed, including rafter sistering, framing, and other carpentry work.
Identify and repair roofing issues such as leaks, damaged shingles, or flashing deficiencies.
Perform general home repairs related to solar installations, including siding, drywall, and minor exterior or interior finishes.
Maintain clear, professional communication with homeowners and team members.
Document all work performed, including photographs and notes on site features, and submit documentation promptly.
Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and safe throughout the duration of the project.
Assist with additional construction-related tasks as needed to support project completion.
Adhere to company vehicle policies and all safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Basic to intermediate knowledge of carpentry and roofing, including the safe use of hand and power tools.
Ability to assess and complete minor structural repairs and improvements.
Comfortable working at heights and on residential roofs for extended periods.
Physical ability to regularly lift and carry 40-50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
Flexibility to take on additional construction or maintenance duties as needed.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check and drug screening.
