DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of various electrical systems. This includes working on motors, appliances, elevators, fire alarm systems, fiber optics, telecommunications, and distribution and switch gear systems, all aimed at supporting the maintenance department's overall objectives. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of essential equipment, playing a vital role in the smooth operation of our facilities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.This position may require travel and overtime.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Successful completion of the Electrician Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orFour years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
