Business Development Intern (DoD SkillBridge Program) Location:
Virtual (Remote) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
Duration: Up to 180 days (in accordance with DoD SkillBridge
policy) Organization: Bridgecross LLC About the Opportunity
Bridgecross LLC is seeking a driven Business Development Intern
through the DoD SkillBridge Program to support our federal and
commercial growth initiatives. This virtual internship provides an
excellent opportunity for transitioning service members to gain
experience in capture management, market research, and proposal
coordination within a small business government contracting
environment. Interns will learn to identify new business
opportunities, conduct research using platforms like SAM.gov and
GovWin , and assist in developing competitive proposals and
marketing materials. Responsibilities Research and identify federal
and commercial business opportunities. Track solicitations, RFIs,
and RFPs using SAM.gov and GovWin. Support proposal development,
data collection, and document coordination. Prepare capability
statements, presentation decks, and marketing content. Participate
in strategic planning and pipeline meetings. Assist in building
relationships with teaming partners and subcontractors. Support the
creation of capture plans and proposal outlines. Required
Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability
to work independently in a virtual environment. Interest in
business development, government contracting, or sales strategy.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or progress toward one)
in Business, Marketing, or related field. Experience using
government procurement tools (SAM.gov, GovWin). Knowledge of
proposal or capture management processes. What You’ll Gain Exposure
