testing, is hiring a Chemistry Technician. This entry-level role

hear from you! This is an onsite role working at our facility in
Hatfield, PA. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to
4:30pm. Responsibilities: Understands and complies with LTI’s QA
Program at all times. Follows all safety rules and regulations;
utilizes personal protective equipment as required.Maintains
assigned work area(s) in a clean, organized, and safe condition at
all times.Washes Glassware.Performs all types of chemical testing,
sample preparation and setting up testing equipment.Follows all
applicable and required specifications and procedures, insuring
accuracy, and compliance to test requirements.Ensures that the test
equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in
calibration prior to performing any tests. Assists with maintaining
test equipment. This includes cleaning the equipment, performing
preventive maintenance as scheduled.Informs the chemistry
coordinator and manager whenever any equipment is found to be out
of calibration or in need of repair.Analyzes and documents test
results, consulting with the coordinator or department manager, as
necessary.Monitors ever changing scheduled completion dates and
times to insure that established schedules are met.Inputs required
data into results module accurately and on a timely basis.Seeks
clarification when specifications or directions are unclear.Assists
with the proper disposal of waste and scrap materials.Performs
other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (BS) from four-year college or
university, two years of related experience and/or training, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior experience
and/or training in a chemistry laboratory / material testing or
similar-type industry preferred but not required.Computer skills
required: Microsoft Office and in general comfortable working on
computer.Desired skills but not required: Combustion (LECO), Inert
Gas Fusion (LECO), Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES/OES) and/or
Inductively Couples Plasma (ICP) analysis.Other skills required:
Mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, ability to work
well in a team environment, to multi-task and to work
intermittently in an up-tempo environment.Must meet citizenship
eligibility required by accrediting bodies.Must be able to lift up
to 50 pounds. This position requires use of information or access
to processes subject to national security controls under U.S.
export laws including but not limited to International Traffic in
Arms Regulations (ITAR). In accordance with ITAR, to be qualified
to work in this facility, applicants must be a US Person, which is
