PLLC is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Receivable
Specialist to support our accounting and collections operations.
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial
records, processing customer payments, and assisting with billing
and reconciliation activities. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, post,
verify, and record customer payments and accounts receivable
transactions. Generate and submit invoices in accordance with firm
policies and procedures. Maintain and update customer account
records, including changes to names, addresses, and billing
details. Draft correspondence for routine past-due accounts and
assist with collection efforts by identifying delinquent accounts
and contacting account holders for payment. Prepare reports
reflecting the current status of customer accounts, as requested.
Research and resolve customer discrepancies and past-due balances
in collaboration with the Collections Manager and accounting staff.
Partner with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts
receivable on a periodic basis (at least bimonthly). Assist with
the preparation of monthly billing statements based on the general
ledger. Support the Accounting Manager with monthly revenue account
reconciliations. Copy, file, and retrieve accounts receivable
documentation as needed. Communicate changes in account information
to appropriate personnel. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers,
10-key calculators, and copiers. Strong organizational skills with
exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a
fast-paced environment. Professional and courteous interaction with
customers, with the ability to anticipate workflow needs. Education
and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of related accounts receivable
or accounting experience required. Physical Requirements Ability to
sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Ability to
