We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Chambersburg, PA. Requirements: - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate - Required Skills: Antepartum, Facility births/month 100-200, Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), NST (Non Stress Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Diabetes mellitus, Multiple Gestation, Pre-eclampsia / eclampsia, VBAC management / trial of labor, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Administration of blood & blood products, Starting and maintaining IVs, Antihypertensives, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam, Newborn Assessment, Epidural Anesthesia, Pain assessment & management, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Isolation Precautions/PPE Job Details: - Pay: $840/shift Start Your Per Diem Journey with Aya Healthcare Working per diem is a great way to maintain a flexible schedule, generate income and gain valuable clinical experience in a variety of healthcare environments.
