Job Description Job Description RN Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) Location: Towson, MD Contract Type: Travel Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00pm–7:30am) Pay: $1,915.20/week Completion Bonus: $1,600 per contract (up to $4,800 after three contracts) Job Description ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment. This is a fast-paced unit caring for patients with cardiac dysrhythmias, stroke, and complex medical comorbidities. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend is required. Floating within specialty and to lower acuity units may occur based on census needs. This is a high-submittal role — qualified candidates are encouraged to apply quickly. Key Responsibilities Provide care to MS/Telemetry patients (adolescent, adult, geriatric populations) Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms Manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapid response/code situations Administer cardiac drips within ordered parameters (non-titrated) Provide pre/post cardiac cath and post-MI care Manage chest tubes, feeding tubes, IV therapy, and blood product administration Perform EKGs and telemetry monitoring Utilize Epic EMR for documentation Float within specialty and lower acuity units as needed Qualifications Active Maryland RN license (or Compact) required at submission Minimum 2 years recent MS/Telemetry experience required BLS (AHA) required ACLS (AHA) required NIHSS required CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm vendor accepted) Epic experience preferred Must meet 50-mile local radius rule 2 professional references required (1 supervisor/manager 1 charge RN acceptable) Benefits Weekly pay with competitive rates Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Referral bonuses for referring talented professionals into our network Flexible schedules and dedicated recruiter support About ATC Healthcare ATC Healthcare has been a leader in healthcare staffing for nearly 40 years, offering personalized placement and support to healthcare professionals nationwide.
